Dr. Yaffe awarded NIA R35

Dr. Yaffe was awarded a NIA R35 Outstanding Investigator Award, and participated in the inaugural NIA R35 AD/ADRD Leadership Award Meeting.

The R35 allows investigators who have made outstanding contributions to the field to pursue ambitious new areas of research and maximize the potential for important breakthroughs.

As one of only nine Leadership Awards for AD/ADRD research granted across the United States, Dr. Yaffe's R35 aims to expand her groundbreaking work and her excellence in mentorship by establishing the UCSF Population-Based Research for Alzheimer's Innovation (Pop-BRAIN) program.
